I'm Megan and I've found that I love many things in life. More than anything, I love the Lord, and I'm thankful for His never-ending love for me. I love my family and friends. I love music and movies. And, I’ve found that I love writing, and someday I hope that I will become a New York Times Best Selling Author. Until then, I can use this blog to share my thoughts on anything and everything with everyone...plain and simple.

Today is the day! Joe Jonas’ new single “See No More” from his upcoming solo album premiered on Chicago’s B96 Radio. I listened to Joe Jonas’ single on the B96 website and I absolutely love it. I am a huge Jonas Brothers fan, and Joe’s single has a different sound than their music but I love it. I feel that Joe’s new sound fits him and his personality very well just like Nick’s solo project, Nick Jonas & The Administration, fit his style and personality. I love how the Jonas Brothers’ solo projects help their fans see them as individuals and it gives them a way to showcase their individual talents. I look forward to hearing the rest of Joe’s solo work and any other music that the Jonas Brothers have in store.

I have posted a clip of the B96 interview which includes the premiere of Joe’s “See No More”, so that, you can all enjoy it and get a taste of what is to come with Joe Jonas’ solo album. Hope you love it as much as I do! Plus, don’t forget to request “See No More” on your local radio station!

Random Thought: if Kevin had a solo album, I wonder what it would sound like? Hmmm….

Summer always makes me think of the Jonas Brothers. Probably because I’ve spent a lot of summers going to see the Jonas Brothers in concert. One song in particular that would be the perfect Jonas summer song is their hit, “Burnin’ Up”! Which, would also be a perfect description of Arkansas weather in the summer. Gotta love them Jonas Brothers!

Oh, the memories! Jonas Brothers Burnin’ Up Tour 2008!

Taylor Swift - Mean

Taylor Swift has done it again—her music video for “Mean” is an amazing depiction of the song. I can’t even begin to describe how amazing all of Taylor’s music videos are—she knows how to tell a good story through music and videos. I think that with Taylor’s music videos we fans get to see a picture of what was going through her mind as she wrote the song. I love this music video, after all, who wouldn’t want to dance around in a library wondering what could have happened with your relationship.

Like many other Americans, I was watching American Idol Thursday when Il Volo performed. I first I thought it was slightly weird because most teenagers don’t sound like that when they sing, but then when I really listened to them they sound amazing. Also, Piero has some pretty awesome glasses. So, yesterday I went and bought their album at Walmart to see what it was like. True…I have no idea what they are saying on the songs other than the three in English, but their voices are astounding. I look at their music as a way for me to broaden my musical taste. Plus, they are even being referred to as the Italian Jonas Brothers, and everyone that knows me knows I love the Jonas Brothers. haha

Il Volo

Here is their song ‘O Sole Mio!

I love 80’s movies! The other day, I borrowed the 80’s classic, Stand By Me, from my best friend, and watched it for the first time. I realized that while I wasn’t fond of all the cursing, I love the movie and the story it tells. I also found that I was intrigued by River Phoenix’s acting. So, I went straight to IMDB to learn more of River Phoenix. I had known of his unfortunate death, but I was rather uneducated in his acting career. After looking over the films that he had made I chose a few that I would like to see. Unfortunately, his films aren’t the easiest to find in stores. However, I did manage to find the film, Running on Empty, at Hastings. Running on Empty definitely showcased the incredible acting abilities that River possessed, and like Stand By Me, it told a great story. Now, I’m hoping to eventually find the films Explorers and Little Nikita because I’m sure that their great! Overall, River Phoenix may have struggled with drugs, which would eventually lead to his untimely death, but his acting was brilliant. He had such an intensity in acting that made his performances real, and I really feel that in the movies I’ve seen him in he really felt what his characters were feeling. Great talent shouldn’t go unnoticed! What are your thoughts?

God Bless Everyone! :)
